Attendance

It is a privilege to be a member of RRCCLC/LCBC choirs. Each child (and their parents) is expected to demonstrate commitment by being punctual and consistently attending all rehearsals and performances. Each child is independently important to the success of the program. Just as with any other team effort, the success of the choir is reliant on the attendance of all of its members. Therefore, the child and family should make participation a priority in the child’s life and schedule. Singers must be able to participate in the full rehearsal and follow the directive of the choir directors. Please consult school calendars, sports calendars, and family calendars early in the year.

Rehearsal Location

The choir will rehearse at the space rented in Holy Cross Lutheran Church (1151 N St Mary’s Rd, Libertyville).

Concert Attire

Annual tuition is inclusive of all rehearsals (30-33 annually), along with gown/dress/shirt & bow tie use for concerts.  Families will be responsible for some other items. The attire details are attached. We will begin attire fitting in late-October/early November. The attire will be used for both concerts this choir year.

Parent Meeting

An informal parent meeting during the first choir rehearsal to provide an overview of the choir and answer any questions. This is mandatory for new families.

Donations & Fundraising

Red Rose Children’s Choir of Lake County is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. As such we rely on grants, donations and fundraisers to meet our annual operating costs. In addition, we have several opportunities when parent volunteers are needed and hope you will be able to assist.
