Love Notes Pre-Concert Info

Dear Choir Families –

We are looking forward to our Love Notes Concert on Saturday, February 26th, 1:30 pm at Libertyville High School!  You will receive an email when tickets go on sale next week.  As in the past, in addition to our weekly rehearsals, we will have 2 mandatory pre-concert rehearsals at the venue (Friday, 2/25 and Saturday 2/26 prior to the concert). 

MANDATORY PRE-CONCERT REHEARSAL 1

Friday, February 25th, Libertyville High School Auditorium (708 West Park Avenue, Libertyville)

This is a closed rehearsal – only singers and volunteers will attend.

Attire Expectation for this rehearsal: Choir Shoes Only 

  • If there is rainy or snowy weather, singers must change into their choir shoes inside prior to rehearsal.  Singers cannot wear wet shoes on the stage/risers.  
  • Singers can be dropped off at the auditorium door at the east end of the front of the building.  Volunteers will meet the singers and check them in.
  • Face masks are mandatory for all individuals inside at LHS.  Singers and volunteers must bring their own to this rehearsal.  
  • Singers may bring a water bottle, but no snacks.

Call Times by Choir (this is the time the singers need to be ready to check-in).

  • Prelude: 5:05 pm – 5:45 pm
  • Concert: 4:45 pm – 5:20 pm
  • Boys Choir I: 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm
  • Boys Choir II: 4:15 pm – 4:45 pm
  • Master Singers: 5:30 pm – 6:15 pm
  • Bella Rosa: 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm (CCR until 7:00; Solos/Small Groups until 7:15)

Saturday, February 26th, Libertyville High School Auditorium (708 West Park Avenue, Libertyville)

Full Attire Expectations: Dresses, shoes, tights, appropriate hair 

  • If there is rainy or snowy weather, singers must change into their choir shoes inside prior to rehearsal.  Singers cannot wear wet shoes on the stage/risers.  
  • Singers can be dropped off at the east auditorium door off of the parking lot at the front of the building.  Volunteers will meet the singers and check them in.  
  • Face masks are mandatory for all individuals inside at LHS.  Singers will be provided one disposable 3-ply, black mask that must be worn for the concert. All singers will be wearing the same mask.  
  • Please make sure your singer eats a healthy meal prior to the concert.  

Call Times by Choir (this is the time the singers need to be ready to check-in)

  • Concert Choir: Call time at 12:20 pm – In full concert attire
  • Prelude Choir: Call time at 12:40 pm – In full concert attire
  • Master Singers: 11:20-11:55; Back at 1:00 pm – In full concert attire
  • Bella Rosa: 10:45-11:35; Back at 1:00 pm – In full concert attire
  • Boys Choir I: Call time at 12:00 – 12:35 pm; Back at 1:00 pm – In full concert attire
  • Boys Choir II: Call time at 11:40 -12:15 pm; Back at 1:00 pm – In full concert attire

Singers cannot eat lunch at LHS due to Covid.

Love Notes Concert

Saturday, February 26th, Libertyville High School Auditorium

  • Face masks are mandatory for anyone inside LHS (singers and audience)
  • There is only ONE concert on 2/26 and all choirs will perform. 
  • 1:15 pm – House opens
  • 1:30 pm – Concert begins
  • Ticket sales will begin mid-February through TicketLeap.  An email will be sent to families with the link.  Tickets are sold to concerts in order to cover the venue and concert costs.
